  • Prof. Volkan Adsay, M.D., has been awarded the 2021 International Academy Award in the Health and Life Sciences Category by the TUBA (Turkish Academy of Sciencesas one of the first pathologists to define intraductal tubulopapillary neoplasm and as a pioneer in identification of tumor types like intraductal oncocytic papillary neoplasm of pancreas and pancreatic colloidal carcinoma as well as in diagnosis, differential diagnosis and treatment of various diagnostically difficult diseases such as paraduodenal pancreatitis.
